Nassau County Police detectives said that the man walked into the shop at 20 Broadway in Massapequa at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, and approached a female employee to order a coffee.
According to police, after making his order, he pulled out a silver handgun and demanded cash from the register, to which the employee complied.
The man then fled east on Veteran’s Boulevard with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
Police described the suspect as being approximately 5-foot-10 with a medium build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black face mask, green hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and dark shoes.
